New Fitbit Versa 2 leak suggests 4-day battery life, Amazon Alexa support
We know for sure that Fitbit plans a sequel to the Versa smartwatch, but we know little about the new stuff (if any) it will bring in terms of hardware and software. Thankfully, a new leak sheds light on what the Fitbit Versa 2 is all about.
Pictures of the Fitbit Versa 2 retail box published by TizenHelp shows some of the smartwatch's features, such as the fact that it will offer up to four days of battery life and that it will include built-in Amazon Alexa support. The latter kind of confirms another piece of hardware that hasn't been mentioned anywhere yet, a microphone.
Also, the box lists Fitbit Pay support, but this was quite obvious as the current Versa smartwatch includes this feature as well. There's also 24/7 heart-rate monitoring, local song storage for more than 300 songs, and more than 18 exercise modes.
Rumor has it that Fitbit plans to reveal the new Versa 2 on August 25, but the smartwatch won't hit the stores until September 15. Even so, there's a high chance the company will showcase it at IFA 2019 trade fair early next month, so we'll most likely be able to offer you more info (and pictures) about it.
