Fitbit Ionic: Adidas edition smartwatch to be launched on March 19 for $330
Present at this year's Mobile World Congress (MWC) trade fair, Fitbit took the opportunity to introduce a brand new smartwatch, the result of the multi-year partnership with Adidas. The new smartwatch is a special edition of Fitbit's Ionic, but with a slightly higher price.

The Fitbit Ionic: Adidas edition is now available for pre-order for $330, whereas the standard model sells for just $300. According to Fitbit, the Ionic: Adidas edition smartwatch will hit shelves on March 19, so customers who pre-order one will have to wait about three weeks to get their wearable devices.

The smartwatch comes in two color options – Ice Gray and Ink Blue and includes one small and one large wristband in the sales package. The Fitbit Ionic: Adidas edition offers access to exclusive coaching with Adidas Train app.

It's also packed with unique workouts such as Dynamic Warm Up, Power Pace and Metabolic. Clearly, this is a smartwatch aimed at active people who wish to track and improve their running performance.

It's also worth mentioning that Fitbit's new smartwatch will be available for purchase via multiple US retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, Dick's Sporting Goods, Kohl's, Macy's and Nordstrom.
