Fish Out Of Water! finally skips to Android as a free game, fish jouncing ensues

More than a year ago, Halfbrick Studios, the developer that's responsible for the once-popular Fruit Ninja, released Fish Out Of Water! for iOS devices. While our review of the game praised it for being "cute" and "easy to grasp", the gameplay of the game is not as diverse as we'd like it to be. Still, it is a pretty capable time-killing title, which will surely suit to the liking of younger gamers. Now, after all that time, Fish Out Of Water! finally splashed and spritzed to the Play Store.

Fish Out Of Water! is an arcade game that requires you to toss cute marine creatures, such as dolphins, pupperfish, and sperm whales, into the air and watch them as they skip on the water and cover ridiculous distances. You don't have direct control of your "projectiles", but each one of them comes with its own characteristics and flies in a different fashion. After you've thrown several of said sea creatures into the air, a cast of crabs will act as a jury and evaluate your overall performance based on the total number of skips and distance you've achieved during the run.

That's pretty much it in the gameplay compartment. The only thing that you get to do after you toss the critters is to boost their speed by tapping the screen. Oh, and you need to monitor the in-game weather, as it greatly affects the flight capabilities of the creatures, which are secretly bird wannabes. This said, i the idea of tossing marine fauna greatly amuses you, then Fish Out Of Water! might be yours for free from Google Play. Then again, the game's mostly intended for kids.
