First unboxing images of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 hit the web
After the usual fanfare of leaks, speculation and a few official teasers, Xiaomi finally took the wraps off the Redmi Note 4 a couple of days back. In-keeping with the Chinese firm's tried-and-tested design language, the device boasts a capable-looking array of hardware for its $180 MSRP price. Now, the first Redmi Note 4 unboxing images have appeared, showcasing the new handset in all of its glory.
Sure, the Redmi Note 4 is not as strong as the Redmi Pro, but it's no slouch either. Under the hood sits the MediaTek Helio X20, 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of expandable storage. The 5.5-inch, 1080 x 1920 display is on par with that of its predecessor, while the 4100 mAh battery is a very slight, but welcome raise on the Redmi Note 3's 4000 mAh juice pack.
As aforementioned, Xiaomi hasn't deviated too much from the usual aesthetic parameters, but there have been a couple of subtle adjustments. Notably, the Redmi Note 4 is slightly thinner than the preceding model, while the new chamfered-edge finish should enhance the device's higher-end appeal.
