First Xiaоmi Mi 4 camera samples and benchmark score crop up
Xiaomi certainly made headlines yesterday after it announced its new flagship -- the Mi 4 -- on stage, so interest in the device is yet to die out. As the hours went by, most of the unknowns started being filled out, but a few remained -- like what kind of quality can we expect from the shooter and how well does this thing benchmark?
Thankfully, we now have the answer to both these questions, courtesy of Chinese MyDrivers, which has gotten its hands on the device and has already released the first few (third-party) camera samples, along with an AnTuTu benchmark score. We'll let you judge the camera samples for yourselves, but as for the benchmark score, at over 37,000, it's right up there with the best of the current crop. And that's not surprising -- pretty much every of Xiaomi's flagships so far has been a stellar performer as far as synthetic tests are concerned.
In China, the Xiaomi Mi 4 will cost the equivalent of $320 for the 16GB model, or $400 for the 64GB one. Whether the company is planning on making its new flagship available outside of Asia remains to be seen.
