Every week, we tell you which app is the "Free iOS app of the Week." Sometimes the free app is a game for you to play, and other times it is a very useful productivity app. The current free iOS app of the week is a highly regarded video camera and editing app called Musemage. Downloading the app through Wednesday saves iOS users the $3.99 that the app usually costs. And while Android users might have been a wee-bit jealous, they no longer have a reason to feel that way. Google has now added a "Free App of the Week" section to the Google Play Store. Like the weekly iOS freebie, you never know what category the free app will be coming from until it is announced.

Right now, the free app of the week for Android users is Cartoon Network's Card Wars-Adventure Time. Normally $2.99 from the Google Play Store, at the moment this app won't cost you a dime. Based on the animated cartoon with the same name, Card Wars-Adventure Time gives you the ability to
"command an army of awesome warriors, including Husker Knights, Cool Dog, the Immortal Maize Walker, and even the Pig to destroy your opponent's forces! Place towers and cast spells to unleash ultimo attacks."

The game allows you to customize your card deck for each opponent. Creatures, spells and towers can be leveled up, and you can merge them all together to become more powerful.

Besides being offered for free to Android users, the game is available to those rockin' iOS. The latter though, will have to pay $3.99 for the app.

Download Card Wars-Adventure Time. Simply click on the appropriate link (Android|iOS).

Now that Android users have their own free app to download each week, we will be passing along the name of the freebie along with information about it and a link to make it easy for you to install it on your Android device.
