Family Dollar begins to offer T-Mobile's prepaid services its stores
Making things easier to get your hands on a cell phone of some sort, popular discount retailer Family Dollar has made a partnership to start selling T-Mobile’s prepaid services in its approximate 6,000 stores nationwide.
Not only can you get a bunch of other items during your trip to Family Dollar store, but you can also pick up the entry-level LG GS170 as well. To make things sweeter, the prepaid flip phone is priced modestly at $30, which goes hand-to-hand with the carrier’s budget friendly $50 per month unlimited plan. Of course, you can talk, chat, text, and surf the web all you want, but it’s worth knowing that data speeds will be throttled once the 100MB mark is met.
Granted that the handset isn’t the shiniest thing we’ve seen offered by T-Mobile, the carrier’s presence alone in Family Dollar stores will provide additional opportunities to grab new customers.
