Facebook launches Memories, a single place where you can find moments shared in the past
Memories is a brand new feature that's now available to Facebook users on Android and iOS devices, which will allow them to browse all the moments they previously shared with family and friends.
Either it's posts or photos, friends you've made or major life events, you can now find everything in a single place called Memories. According to Facebook, it felt the need to add a feature like Memories since more than 90 million people every day are using On This Day to remember the moments they've shared on Facebook.
Now, here is what sections you'll find on your Memories page: On This Day, Friends Made On This Day, Recaps of Memories, and Memories You May Have Missed. The titles are self-explanatory, but it's worth mentioning that you can still access your memories through the Memories bookmark in the “more” tab on the bottom right of the mobile app.
In addition, Facebook users can access Memories via notifications, through messages that they may see in their News Feed. So, there you have it, folks, Facebook is making easier for users find their memories on the go.
