Facebook launches social AR games for Messenger
Facebook is bringing more entertainment to Messenger users with the addition of social AR games in chats. It's not like we didn't spend lots of time using the social network's features, now we have one more reason not to spend even more time in Messenger.
The new video chat AR games feature a multiplayer mode so that you can play with up to six people at a time. Two games are available for Messenger users starting today, but two more will be added very soon.

With this feature starting to roll out today, you can challenge your friends around the world to two games: see who can hold a serious face the longest with “Don’t Smile”, or see who can better navigate their spaceship with “Asteroids Attack.”
In order to try out the first two social AR games, you should make sure that you have the latest version of Messenger, then open an existing conversation and tap the video icon on the upper right corner of the screen. Then click on the star button to select one of the two AR games available at the moment.
