FCC gets a visit from the Samsung Nexus Two?
The FCC just received a visit from a Samsung handset with the model number GT-i9010. This very well could have been the Samsung Nexus Two that was visiting the feds, and there are some actual reasons to make that connection. Those who have had a hands on experience with the N-Two say that it is a relation to the Galaxy S family. The international model number of the Samsung Galaxy S is GT-i9000 which would not make it too far fetched to believe that the GT-i9010 would be a sequel to the Nexus One family.. The model has also received thumbs up from the Wi-Fi Alliance.
On the other hand, there are others on the "inside" who have seen the Nexus Two and say that it is a much more sexy looking phone than the Galaxy S design, and is equipped with a 1.2GHz processor under the hood. In that case, the GT-i9010 could be something else with a family tree that includes the Samsung Galaxy S.
As we reported, Samsung and Google plan on introducing the sequel to the Nexus One on November 8th, so all of these rumors and conjecture have a very short shelf life to them until we learn exactly what the pair have planned.
