FCC documents uncover the Boost Mobile branded Motorola i420
If there’s one company that’s known to produce push-to-talk devices like it’s their job, it has to be none other than Motorola, and rightfully so yet again, we’re seeing another one coming to fruition.
This time around, recent FCC documents uncovered photos of the Boost Mobile branded Motorola i420 clamshell handset donning a blue and black exterior. Fittingly, the handset sports some of the design cues that most would agree to be the familiar Motorola style. Obviously, the snapshots of the handset show that it features two displays and a camera. Meanwhile, the draft user manual says that it packs along features like a 2.5mm headset jack, FM radio, group calling, and push-to-talk – albeit, they haven’t been explicitly confirmed by the FCC.
As much as we continue to see push-to-talk devices from Motorola’s camp, there is still no official word from them or Boost Mobile regarding the device in question.
