While not yet officially announced by Asus, images surfaced today of the manufacturer's entry-level Asus ZenFone Go handset. The rumor has a Taiwan postmark and comes from a source that previously outed the Asus ZenFone Selfie. Based on the leaked image of the device, it appears that the ZenFone Go will be offered in various pastel colors. Pricing and availability are unknown at this time.
What we do know is that the ZenFone Go will feature a 5-inch screen, with a resolution of 720 x 1280. Under the hood is the MT6582 SoC, which comes with a quad-core CPU and the Mali-400 MP2 GPU. 2GB of RAM is inside with 8GB of internal storage. An 8MP camera graces the back of the handset while a 2MP snapper can be found in front.
The Asus ZenFone Go supports 3G connectivity (no 4G LTE here) and we expect it to be unveiled before the end of this month.
