Entire Sony Xperia Z5 line already gets price cut for pre-orders in the U.K.
Over the weekend, we told you how Sony had started asking for the equivalent of $910 USD to pre-order the 32GB Sony Xperia Z5. The 32GB Sony Xperia Z5 Premium could be reserved for $1062 USD, and the 32GB Sony Xperia Z5 Compact pre-orders were priced at $834 USD. But after hearing feedback, both polite and rude, Sony has already decided to cut the pre-order price of all three models.
The 32GB Sony Xperia Z5 can now be pre-ordered for the equivalent of $840 USD. That is a 7.7% haircut. The pre-order price for the 32GB Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has been cut 9.4% to the equivalent of $962 USD. The largest cut, 21%, was for Sony Xperia Z5 Compact pre-orders. The phone can now be reserved for $656 USD.
Keep in mind that these prices, both the original and new ones, come from Sony's U.K. website. Some might still consider these prices to be high, and it doesn't change our original premise about Sony's desire to be the premium Android manufacturer.
