If the
Elephone P7000's
promo video somehow managed to make you feel overwhelmed with an impatient desire to buy the new smartphone, you'd be happy to know that you can pre-order it right now for $229.99. The handset is available in 3 colors – black, white, and champagne (didn't see that one coming) – and will ship on the 21st of May. Orders will be delivered worldwide for the price of $0 (10 – 25 business days), or around $40 if you wish to get the device within a week after shipment.
Elephone is yet another company that seemingly wants to star in the Xiaomi – Meizu underdog-reaching-for-the-top race. To that, we can only tip our hat, as more competition is always a great thing for the consumer. For the price of $229.99 (apparently, it will jump to $297.74 when the pre-order period is over), you get a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek 6752, 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage (expandable), a 1080p 5.5" screen, and a 3,200 mAh battery. Photobugs should enjoy a 16 MP Sony-made sensor powered main camera, and selfie lovers should like the 8 MP frontal snapper – they at least sound good on paper. The software to drive all of this will be Android 5.0 out of the box. You even get a metal-made body and fancy fingerprint sensor posted on the back of the device, too.
And, come on – for $229.99 – you get a smartphone with Batman popping out of it – this has got to be a bargain!
