EE19 update for the Samsung Mesmerize addresses phone call issues & more
The last time we heard about the Samsung Mesmerize, it was getting its much-needed Froyo treatment back in March, but now it’s seeing yet another software update that fixes some annoyances experienced by some handset owners.
Specifically, the EE19 update for US Cellular’s Samsung Mesmerize is available for download right now, however, it’s not being rolled out the usual way you’d expect with an OTA update. Rather, you’ll need to have Kies Mini installed so that you can properly get it on the handset. Once installed though, it addresses things related to phone calls not being heard and the volume buttons not responding properly.
Obviously, it doesn’t bring any new features to the handset, but nonetheless, we’re sure there are going to be some happy owners out there that won’t need to live with these annoyances any more.
