You know that a phone's release is getting close when the dummy models start to show up at the carrier's stores. Such is the case with Canada's Bell and the BlackBerry Tour. Our expectations are that Verizon will be the first to release the Tour in North America on July 12th, followed by Bell on the 15th and Sprint on the 20th. Yet, it is the Canadians that are the first to get the dummy units of the Tour.
Pricing talk has Bell offering the handset for a special promotion cost of $249.99 with a 3 year contract. Without the promotion, the 3 year contract price is $449.99. In the States, both Big Red and the Pin-drop network appear to have settled on a post-rebate price of $199.99 after a 2 year contract. Getting excited?
