Dual-camera Xiaomi Mi 5X leaks out in press renders a week prior to its debut
Yesterday, we passed on the news that Xiaomi is holding a double product launch, so to speak, on this July 26. Aside from announcing the 9th iteration of the in-house MIUI interface, China's Xiaomi is also pegged to show the upper mid-range Mi 5X handset, which will likely feature some 4GB of RAM, a 5.5-inch Full HD display up front, and most importantly, an efficient Snapdragon 625 chipset.
Just a week prior to the announcement of the device, a bunch of press renders has leaked out straight from an official Xiaomi website, giving us a sneak peek at the three color variants of the Mi 5X. Judging from the renders, the device might be available in gold, black, and rose gold colors, which is a pretty standard color selection in this day and age.
Aside from the colors, the renders reaffirm the previous rumors and leaks that the device will be boasting a dual-camera setup at the rear and a fingerprint scanner at the back of the phone. A set of signature Xiaomi navigation keys up front are complementing the looks of the handset. It's pretty safe to say that this one will be an all-metal affair, which is pretty much the norm at the moment.
We will know more about the Mi 5X come July 26.
