Dragon Ball Legends for Android and iOS now available worldwide
Bandai Namco announced two weeks ago that their newest Dragon Ball game for mobile devices is available for download in the United States via App Store and Google Play Store. Although the Japanese publisher didn't say when the game will be made available in more markets, a global rollout was to be expected.
Starting today, Dragon Ball Legends for Android and iOS is available worldwide, Bandai Namco confirmed. The publisher describes it as a “new one-finger card action battle game,” which allows players to battle against friends and rivals around the globe in PvP battles while on the move.
To mark the success of the game, which was announced via a pre-launch campaign in March and managed to break Bandai Namco's all-time record with over 4.5 million total registrations, all players who begin playing the game today will receive Goku, Frieza, a rare character and Chrono Crystals (items used to summon fighters in-game) upon download.
Besides Goku, a trio of brand new characters – Shallot, Zahha, and a mysterious hooded man, have been included in Dragon Ball Legends. Keep in mind that while the game is available for free, it contains some items for in-app purchases that can enhance gameplay and speed up your progress.
