During this time, you're not supposed to be touching your phone. If you do as much as launch a game, take a phone call, or press the "Give Up" button, your budding tree dies... just like that. The weirdest part of it all is that you care for this inanimate, digital plant organism. You know it was only your fault that the tree you planted never came to be! If only you could discipline yourself and stay away from your smartphone for the full 30 minutes, you would have seen your tree grow, go to school, and become a lawyer!
Okay, that last bit was a little far-fetched, but like we said in the beginning, Forest is darn fun. Whether it really makes anyone more productive depends on the device that's behind the screen, but as a concept, the app is totally cool!
