Don't Starve: Pocket Edition for iOS is on sale for just $0.99 on the App Store

One of the most popular PC survival games, Don't Starve made its debut on smaller screens about two years ago. The so-called Pocket Edition version of the game is now up for grabs on both Android and iOS platforms, but it will not come for free.

Developer Klei Entertainment has put a $4.99 price tag on Don't Starve: Pocket Edition since the game's release in the App Store and Google Play. However, for a limited time, iOS users can get the game for just $0.99. The promotional offer is available for iOS users only, as the Android version of the game still sells for $4.99 via Google Play.

Don't Starve: Pocket Edition has been specially designed and optimized for touch controls. It allows users to explore, fight, craft and manage inventory with ease using the new intuitive touch interface.

Klei's game doesn't require players to build anything, so you'll just have to survive in the wilderness. You start with nothing and will have to craft, hunt, research, farm and fight to survive. The worlds are randomly generated, so some may seem unforgiving, while other may not take such a toll on you.
