Do you like the jet black iPhone 7? Apple says it "may show fine micro-abrasions" with time
Announced mere hours ago by Apple, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus bring quite many new features and enhancements, obviously being superior to the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus (unless you hate the fact that they don't offer standard 3.5 mm headset jacks). The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus also bring two new color options: black, and jet black.
Apparently being harder to make, the jet black color will be available only on the 128 GB and 256 GB versions of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. The color certainly has its appeal, but, before rushing out to order a jet black iPhone 7, you should know this: Apple says that "its high shine may show fine micro-abrasions with use", despite the fact that "its surface is equally as hard as other anodized Apple products." The company suggests users to buy a case for their jet black iPhone 7 - if they're concerned about these potential micro scratches.

Since we've yet to see a jet black iPhone 7 in the flesh, we don't know just how prone to scratches this color may be, though we'll probably find out soon after the new Apple phones hit the market (September 16). Here's hoping we won't be witnessing a #scratchgate or something like that.
