Dell showcases a concept model in China
Pictures of a Dell-branded device have appeared on the Internet and seem to have caused quite a stir. According to the initial information, the device was to be offered through China Mobile and called the Mini 3i. The rumor had it that the device would be running the manufacturer´s customized Android-based OS and sport a 3.5-inch display, 3-megapixel camera, microSD slot, Bluetooth and 950mAh battery. The company PR reps denied the information later and claimed the handset was just a concept model that wasn´t to sell.

According to BGR however, the Dell Mini 3i is codenamed Benzine and aside from the above mentioned functions will also feature a built-in A-GPS, Microsoft Exchange support and interface that allows multitouch and handwriting recognition. We hope Dell rolls out their first smartphone soon enough even if it doesn´t look like the device in the leaked pictures..
