Dell plans to launch more WP7 devices after seeing impressive demand for the Venue Pro
Despite seeing a couple of hardware hiccups plaguing the Dell Venue Pro and reports from customers about long shipment times due to delays, Dell's stance on Windows Phone 7 is fairly optimistic at this point. Honestly, the Dell Venue Pro is probably the most alluring Windows Phone 7 smartphone on the market right now, and it makes sense why Dell would more than likely continue to add support with the new platform.
In a recent interview with a BBC reporter, Michael Dell said that he was impressed by the demand for the Dell Venue Pro – and that's despite the supply and quality issues we've seen already. Furthermore, the CEO hinted to the notion that Dell would be launching several new Windows Phone 7 handsets. In fact, he was carrying on him both a Dell Windows Phone 7 handset and an Android one while attending the World Economic Forum in Switzerland.

Obviously, this new found commitment with Dell bodes well for Microsoft as they continue to keep good working relationships with hardware manufacturers.
