Dell Venue Pro might be heading to the premier WP7 carrier AT&T as well
Dell Venue Pro is quite the intriguing handset - Dell tried to outdo its production capabilities with the first WP7 device sporting a 4.1" screen, and a sliding portrait QWERTY keyboard. As a result, various issues with Wi-Fi and baseband connectivity surfaced, and only people who preordered the handset before December 14th will be getting it for Christmas. After that, you have to wait until January.
The phone was at first destined for T-Mobile in the US, as well as some European carriers, and couldn't be used on AT&T's 3G network. Now the FCC revealed that the plan has been for the Dell Venue Pro to appear on the premier carrier for WP7 handsets all along. It has been spotted there with AT&T's 3G bands, so it is just a matter of time to see it in their portfolio. With these bands it can also work on Telus, Rogers or Bell.
