It looks like Dell CEO Michael Dell has officially announced during the Citrix Synergy conference that the company will launch the 5-inch Dell Streak (aka Mini 5) through AT&T this summer, thus confirming what was previously heard. The handset will spread its Android love with O2 Telefonica in Europe as soon as next month.
This is very good news for the mobile community, since the Dell Streak is a pretty interesting device by itself. It is the first of its kind, being a tablet-like Android device with a built-in GSM module with 3G support (similarly to the Nokia N900), as well as 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi and 3.5mm jack. Still, we wonder what's going on with those incredibly hot smartphones, the Dell Lightning, Thunder, Flash and Smoke...
