As we reported, some Microsoft stores saw a very limited launch of the Dell Venue Pro earlier this month, and a much wider launch is expected. That is why a web page put up by Dell earlier today generated plenty of interest before it was taken down.
The Dell Venue Pro is unique as it currently is the only Windows Phone 7 handset to sport a landscape QWERTY keyboard slider form factor. It also features a curved 4.1 inch display with a 5MP camera and 8GB of memory.
The web page showed a price of $149.99 for the handset with a 2 year contract and $499.99 without a pact. The page also mentioned T-Mobile as the lone carrier, and it is known that AT&T's 3G bands are not supported by the phone. A launch date of December 14th was also listed, which means that if correct, the model will have a wide availability in time for the holidays.
