Deal: Save $100 on the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 right now
With Samsung expected to roll out a couple of new tablets this month in the form of the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7, one of the company's ageing models can be snagged at a fraction of its regular price. The 8.4-inch edition of the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro is currently available at a discounted rate of over 30% off, which equates to a tidy $100 in savings.

In today's world of regular upgrades and short shelf lives, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is virtually a relic. But despite having been announced way back in the first week of 2014, it still offers a decent array of hardware. The 8.4-inch panel boasts a resolution of 1600 x 2560, while its 2.3 GHz, quad-core Snapdragon 800 SoC is accompanied by a healthy 2 GB of RAM. There's also an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera along with a 2-megapixel offering for selfies, and 16 GB of on-board storage.

Design-wise, the device is comprised mostly of polycarbonate, and while the rear shell gives the appearance of a leather finish, it is, of course, Samsung's trademark faux-leather effect.

In our Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 review, we gave the device a very favorable rating, with its high-res display, 4G support and HDMI port all helping to push it into our collection of the Best Tablets on the market. The only real downside, save the fact that it's reaching its twilight years, is that the battery is not removable, which may be a problem for those who like to carry a spare in times of heavy usage.

Still, at the special price of $199.99 at Best Buy, it's not a difficult sell, and if you'd like to save a wad on this still-capable slate, please check the source link.
