Samsung really wants you to buy a Galaxy S10, offers better than ever trade-in discounts
Samsung has been offering good trade-in values for Galaxy S10 purchases for many months now, but never at the level that it does now. If you own an older Samsung flagship, the best way to upgrade is through the company's trade-in program, which offers customers the instant value of their trade as a discount when they purchase one of the new Galaxy S10 models.

Starting this week, Samsung is offering bigger trade-in discounts for the Galaxy S9/S9+, Galaxy S8/S8+, and Galaxy S8 Active, Droid-life reports. For example, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ are now worth $400 towards the purchase of a new Galaxy S10 smartphone from Samsung, $100 more than last week.

More importantly, even those with much older Samsung flagships like the Galaxy S8, S8+, and S8 Active will find the deal tempting since their phones can be traded for no less than $350 for the purchase of a Galaxy S10. Also, if you own a Galaxy S7 or S7 edge, you'll receive a $300 discount when you buy a new Galaxy S10 from Samsung.

Of course, Apple fans who want to switch from an iPhone to a Samsung flagship will find the company's trade-in program quite appealing. For the iPhone XS Max, Samsung offers up to $500 off towards the purchase of a Galaxy S10, while iPhone XS and iPhone X will get important trade-in discounts as well - $450 and $400, respectively.

It's worth noting that all the trade-in discounts mentioned above are only available as long as you choose to buy an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S10 phone. Trade-in prices remain the same as last week if you purchase a carrier-bounded Galaxy S10.
