Cross platform messaging apps Tango and Telegram hit BlackBerry World, ported from Android
You might recall that when WhatsApp had server issues the other day, messaging app Telegram sent out a tweet stating that it was receiving 100 registrations a second, and that it was hanging on to its connections in Europe by a thread. Now, Telegraph joins Tango as the two newest cross platform messaging apps available for BlackBerry 10 devices from BlackBerry World.
Unfortunately, both apps are ported over from Android, so there is nothing native going on here, folks. Tango has over 160 million members and allows you to send music messages using Spotify. You can send messages one to one, or have a group chat with up to 50 people at one time.
Telegram allows you to chat with up to 200 people at once. With a heavy focus on security, Telegram offers Secret Chats, which has end to end encryption to make sure that only those whom messages are intended for, get to read them.

Of course, both go up against BlackBerry's own messaging app, BBM. Still, if you want to check them out, both are free downloads and are available right now in BlackBerry World.
