Cricket Crosswave MiFi available for pre-order
The new MiFi device from Cricket is available and ready for pre-order. The Huawei-built Cricket Crosswave provides Wi-Fi for up to 4 devices over Cricket's 3G CDMA network, at $105.
The attractive device has a battery life of 3 hours of use (presumably with one connection only), or 90 hours of standby.
It also contains a slot for up to 32GB of removable memory. Cricket is also proud of the fact that the device can send and receive text messages, but we assume that if you're investing in MiFi, you probably already have a cell phone.
To offer some point of comparison, Verizon's MiFi 2200 costs $99.99 with contract, and has a battery life of 4 hours usage and 40 hours standby.
