A day after Steve Jobs's would havebeen birthday, Apple revealed the commemorative bust that will beplaced at its Cupertino HQ. It is made by Serbian sculptor DraganRadenovic, and his project was chosen between over 10 000 competingentries. What we are seeing is a smaller version of the bust, whichwill stand between 10 to 16ft tall in Cupertino.

Surprised by the looks? If anything, the godly height is guaranteed to make the statue even creepier. Itfeatures Steve's head on top of a pedestal, decorated with crudelyprotruding letters and numbers. Radenovic says they are the Serbianletter ?, the Latin letter A, and the binary numbers 0 and 1.Apparently, Apple executives were shown the work in sketch-form, andliked Radenovic's vision.

It's hard to guess whether Steve Jobswould've approved of it if he was alive, but his legendaryperfectionism gives us a good reason to doubt. Regardless, a weirdmonument is better than no monument at all.
