Classic Capcom arcade games are coming to the iPhone this November
Apple iPhone owners have a lot to look forward too this fall when it comes to gaming – especially when Capcom announced that some of their classic arcade games are heading their way.
For those who grew up in the heyday of the arcade scene during the early 1990s, there were tons of Capcom arcade titles that struck a core with gamers thanks to their fun and competitive game play. Classic games like Street Fighter II, 1942, Commando, and Ghouls 'n' Ghosts are leading the way in bringing that old style fun back into the hands of iPhone owners. Expected to arrive in early November, these games will probably be released for single player action, but will thankfully be upgraded to support online play and leader-boards with future updates.
Naturally, the biggest hurdle to come with these type of action games is the control scheme – which is all touch for the iPhone. Needless to say that there will be some trial and error, but it should still be fun reliving all of the action.
