Check out this video of the Xiaomi Mi 5 in action
Earlier this morning, we showed you what appears to be genuine press renders of the Xiaomi Mi 5 dressed in Black, White, Pink and Gold. The images happened to match the previous leak of the Mi 5 that we passed along to you. This morning, a Weibo poster shared a video of what is claimed to be the White version of the Mi 5.
Placed in a nice looking wooden dock, we get to see the flagship phone in action, including the browser. The latter is tested by opening what appears to be a Weibo page.
We will run through the specs again. The Xiaomi Mi 5 is expected to feature a 5.2-inch screen, carrying either a 1440 x 2560 QHD, or 1080 x 1920 FHD resolution. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 820 chipset, containing a quad-core CPU and the Adreno 530 GPU. 4GB of RAM is inside, along with 16GB/64GB of expandable storage. The rear-facing camera weighs in at 16MP and the front-facing selfie snapper is 8MP. A 3030mAh battery keeps the lights on, and a fingerprint scanner is embedded in the home button. The Xiaomi Mi 5 is expected to be priced at 1999 Chinese Yuan, which is roughly $309 USD at today's exchange rates.
