Cellular South announces that they will be offering the HTC Desire
Well it surely didn't take too long for someone to make some news after an official announcement was made regarding how the HTC Desire was coming to select regional wireless carriers this summer. Cellular South came out of the gate and announced that they will bringing on aboard the HTC Desire to their growing Android smartphone lineup. With the HTC Hero already being sold and Motorola MILESTONE coming down in the pipelines, the addition of the Android 2.1 powered HTC Desire will be making a big splash for the carrier. Expected to become available via their online web site and carrier stores, Cellular South didn't mention anything regarding pricing, but we'd imagine it'll trickle out very soon as we're already into the hot summer season.
