Casio announces its WearOS-powered WSD-F30 PRO Trek smartwatch releases in early 2019
Originally revealed back in August at IFA 2018, Casio's new WSD-F30 PRO Trek smartwatch won't be launched on the market until next year, the company announced earlier today. If you've been eyeing Casio's newest smartwatch, you'll be happy to know the WSD-F30 PRO Trek will be available for purchase for $550 starting January 18, 2019.
After getting no less than eight awards at IFA 2019, Casio WSD-F30 PRO Trek promises impressive specs and features. For starters, the smartwatch is water resistant (up to 50 meters) and offers offline map functionality.
For those who don't know, the WearOS-powered Casio WSD-F30 PRO Trek features a unique energy-saving mode that uses a new dual-layer monochrome and color display. Alongside WSD-F30 PRO Trek, Casio plans to launch an extra-long cloth band as an optional accessory for the WSD-F30.

Besides announcing the smartwatch's launch date, Casio also revealed its partnership with Bikemap, the world's biggest cycling map app. This means that WSD-F30 PRO Trek owners will be able to use the Bikemap app to download maps and routes in advance to their smartwatch.
