Carphone Warehouse shows you what comes in the box with the BlackBerry Priv
U.K. retailer Carphone Warehouse was one of the first to put the BlackBerry Priv up for pre-orders. Now, the company has been able to obtain a box with the Android powered slider inside. Besides the phone, there is the usual Quick Start Guide for those who are too impatient to go through the entire user's manual for the device.
Also in the box is the tool required to open the SIM tray, a set of headphones for the device, and a USB plug and cord for charging the 3410mAh battery inside the handset. When the phone is turned on and boots up, it does look strange to see the BlackBerry name with the Android logo right underneath it.
Both the virtual and physical QWERTY keyboards are displayed on the video. The latter is touch-enabled like the QWERTY on the BlackBerry Passport, which means that Priv users can employ it as a trackpad.
The BlackBerry Priv ships on November 6th. In the U.S., it can be ordered directly from BlackBerry for $699.
Thanks for the tip!
