Camera grip accessory for the Nokia EOS aka Lumia 1020 passes through the FCC
Nokia EOS has been snapped front and back already, and that huge circular thingy on the back leaves little doubt that it will have an heir of the monster 41 MP camera found on the 808 PureView.
Actually the handset is listed as Lumia 1020 in store docs, but went through the FCC coded under RM-677. Now an accessory for that same codename has been unearthed from the FCC confines, and it bears the telling title "camera grip" that you see above. That is tipped to be a housing of sorts that will flush the lens part with the surface and introduce a big and comfy camera key for better grip while using the phone as a dedicated camera.
The EOS is expected for unveiling on July 11th and release on AT&T by the end of this month, so it shouldn't be much wait before we know the details on all accompanying accessories.
