UPDATE: Don't forget to check out our CES 2012: Schedule of events post in order to see exactly what and when is going to happen at the expo!
UPDATE2: And here's a detailed article on everything that's expected and/or rumored to make an appearance at the show: CES 2012: What to expect!
Howdy, partners! We here at PhoneArena are soon going to ride off into the sunset of the Mojave Desert in Nevada, but before we do, we'll make sure to pay a visit to Vegas, where CES 2012 will be taking place from January 9-11. As usual, most of the noteworthy events are scheduled for the very beginning of the expo - on January 9, just to make sure that the show starts with a bang. Of course, you should rest assured that we'll be on the spot to cover all the cool stuff as it unfolds.
That means that we'll be delivering hands-ons with the new phones and tablets that will be announced, liveblogs, news, as well as other sweet coverage so that you can stay in the know regarding every single little tidbit. But having in mind the amount of info that we're filling the site with during such major events like CES, we can already see how some not so hardcore readers may find themselves swimming helplessly in that sea of content. Because of that, we'd like to remind you of the ways that will allow you to keep track of our CES 2012 coverage in a somewhat more organized manner.
Of course, if you don't feel like following CES 2012 now, you can always do so later from
your Profile page. There, you should navigate to the Follows tab, and in the Categories section, you should just search for CES2012 and choose to follow it.
However, if you don't feel like doing any of those, we'll regularly publish summary posts with the interesting stuff that has happened thus far, so it should still be easy for you to get to the information that you're interested in.
Already excited about what CES 2012 is going to bring? So are we! There were some really, really cool smartphones and tablets announced at last year's CES like the Motorola DROID BIONIC (or wasn't it this one?), ATRIX 4G, HTC ThunderBolt and many, many more. Things weren't quiet on the tablet front as well, as we saw the very first Honeycomb tablet — the Motorola XOOM — as well as other big time players like the Asus Eee Pad Transformer. And guess what, we have every reason to think that things will be even more electrifying this year!
