Now, there are some conditions and we're sure you're not shocked about that. The new price is considered to be a $250 instant discount that requires you to keep service with your present carrier. Also, you are not allowed to switch to a cheaper calling plan for 181 days (roughly half a year) from the activation of your service. If you do any of those no-no's, or deactivate the device or cancel your service, you will be charged up to the $250 that you saved with the discount. Furthermore, there is a limit of 5 Storms allowed to be purchased by each household. So now it is your turn to do the math. Are you better served with the 2 for 1 deal from Big Red, or is the $99 price tag at Amazon.com the way to go? It really depends on how many units you need. No matter if it is Verizon or Amazon, you will still be getting a huge discount from the price of the Storm just a few days ago.
