"Bumper" cases priced at $29 for the iPhone 4 protects its sides only
As the Apple iPhone 4 took center stage at the WWDC 2010 keynote, the many attendees were probably at awe as the world witnessed the unveiling of the highly anticipated smartphone. The design of the iPhone 4 differentiates itself totally from previous incarnations as it lays claim to the title as the world's thinnest smartphone. Interestingly enough, Apple will also be launching these “bumper” cases that essentially wrap around the handset's stainless steel frame – to protect or cushion the handset at it bumps into things. However, they don't completely cover the phone as the rear is exposed to the world – one would think that the handset's outer glass exterior would be durable enough to withstand the elements. In addition, there are cutouts on the left hand side of the case to accommodate the associated buttons on the iPhone 4. These “bumper” cases will come in six colorful flavors to match your style and will cost you $29 a piece.
