Borderless bandit ZTE Nubia Z9 leaks in flesh and blood
The ZTE Nubia Z9, expected to be unveiled on May 6th, has leaked in flesh and blood, flaunting what looks like record-thin sides, and a sloping 2.5D display tech. This comes after the ZTE Nubia Z9 Max and ZTE Nubia Z9 mini were already announced on March 26th. The Nubia Z9 mini has already sold out one flash sale, and the Nubia Z9 Max has been delayed due to production issues. It should be released some time next month, though its drama might not bode well for the actual "bezel-less" Nubia Z9's availability at launch.
These new images of the ZTE Nubia Z9 below hold the signature design cues of ZTE's flagship line, such as the illuminated circular home key, and indeed confirm extremely thin side frame, which should help with one-handed operation of the phone. As a reminder, the Z9 is expected to sport a 5.5" Quad HD display panel, 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 CPU should be under the hood with 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of native storage inside. A 20 MP camera is said to adorn the back of the phone, which will be priced at the equivalent of $484 USD - a pretty good tag for such specs and design, if indeed materializes.
