Blu Vivo XL2 launches today for just $99.99 (limited time offer)
Blu today released a brand new Android smartphone: the Vivo XL2, which was first spotted last month. Succeeding the original Vivo XL from last year, the Blu Vivo XL2 is a pretty large handset with rather modest features (but definitely not bad for its price point).
The Vivo XL2 sports a 5.5-inch 720p display and has a micro pattern on the back - creating "a metallic sunburst effect." Powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor, the phone further offers DTS surround sound, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of expandable storage space, and a 3150 mAh battery. There's a 13 MP camera on the back of the new Vivo, plus an 8 MP selfie camera on the front. The not so great thing about the handset is that it runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and it's not clear if it's going to be updated to Android 7 Nougat.
The Blu Vivo XL2 can be bought unlocked from Amazon for $149.99, being available in two color variants: blue and gold. For a limited time, starting today at 11 a.m. EST, the phone will cost only $99.99.
Do note that the Vivo XL2 is a GSM/LTE device, meaning it will work on AT&T, T-Mobile and other GSM/LTE networks, but it can't be used on Verizon, Sprint, or US Cellular.
