BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330 coming to Verizon's business customers September 16th
We have already seen a GSM version of the BlackBerry Curve 3G launch on T-Mobile to replace the carrier's aged Curve 8520. Now it is time for the CDMA launch with Verizon replacing the Curve 8530 with the Curve 3G 9330. Since the former model already featured 3G support on Big Red's EV-DO rev. A network, the only change would appear to be the fact that this model can be upgraded to the new BlackBerry 6 OS. Business customers will get the first crack at purchasing the 'Berry Curve 3G starting on September 16th with presence online and at Verizon stores in the next few weeks.
As we reported, the phone will be available in charcoal gray or fuchsia red. Certainly not the most high-end phone available to Big Red's customers with a QVGA resolution and 2MP camera, the Curve 3G will cost $29.99 after a $100 mail-in-rebate and a signed two year pact.
