Earlier this month, we reported that a leaked shot of a computer screen showed that the BlackBerry 9700 was in "Pre-launch" status at AT&T. Now we have some more confirmation that this handset is indeed, heading to the carrier. A picture of an AT&T retail sales screen shows that the 9700 is in the system, awaiting a launch.
The BlackBerry 9700, aka the Onyx, has some nice specs including a 5MP camera with AF, Wi-Fi, QWERTY keyboard and a trackpad. The phone will feature quand band GSM/GPRS/.EDGE with UMTS/HSDPA. We've already been able to show you this unit dressed up in T-Mobile colors and now we know it will also be offered by AT&T. So far, there has been no talk of pricing.
