BlackBerry 10.1 users in the states get native iHeartRadio app
BlackBerry's app count trails the number of apps available for iOS and Android. But at least those music lovers in the states using one of the Canadian OEM's new BlackBerry 10 powered models can rejoice. Streaming music app iHeartRadio is now available from BlackBerry App World, although it is limited to those in the U.S. using the BlackBerry Z10, BlackBerry Q10 and BlackBerry Q5 with BlackBerry 10.1 installed.
The app brings more than 1500 radio stations from coast-to-coast to your BlackBerry 10 device. Station formats include various styles of music, sports, news and talk. You can browse by style of music or location or just keep hitting the scan button until you find something you like. You can also pick a particular song or artist to program your own custom commercial-free station playing songs from your favorite performers and tunes with a similar style. You'll have a huge library to pick from consisting of over 400,000 artists singing 16 million songs.

A feature called "Perfect For" will give you song recommendations based on the activity you are doing. You can use your imagination as to what some of those activities are. It's a great app to own whether you want to hear the latest songs, golden oldies, or even the traffic and weather in a city you don 't live in.
