"Big Program" expected to be communicated to Sprint employees?
CTIA proved to be big for the number three wireless provider in the country as they publicly unveiled the long awaited HTC EVO 4G – it surely garnered a lot of attention from people in the industry. Now it looks as though Sprint might be gearing up for something big after the announcement of the HTC EVO 4G as it's heard that there is an upcoming mandatory meeting being penciled for March 31. With it being only a couple of days away, it's still unclear as to what the meeting is all about – but it's speculated to take place after hours as shops close for the business day. Without any specifics concerning the required meeting for Sprint employees, the internal announcement could potentially be related to Sprint's roll out of WiMAX and place the HTC EVO 4G into its rightful place in the grand scheme of things. Who knows what the "Big Program" is all about, but it wouldn't surprise anyone if Sprint decides to announce some competitive rates for their existing plan offerings. Or maybe it could be something drastically different that could potentially shift the perception of the industry and meet this new direction with open arms. Naturally everyone will surely be intent on watching Spring in the next couple of months as they hopefully will stage an assault with their next generation of data network and upcoming Android powered smartphone.
