If you take buying and selling on eBay seriously-heck, some people do it for a living-the lack of an eBay app might have been the deal breaker that prevented you from buying the BlackBerry Z10. But there is some news that might have you rushing over to your local AT&T store to pick up the handset. On Sunday, it was announced that the eBay app has been added to BlackBerry World. It is not a native app and is a port from the Android version, but still should be sufficient even for those eBay professionals who need to know what is going on with their listings while on the run.
BlackBerry 10 has an eBay app
With the eBay app for BlackBerry 10, just a couple of taps is needed to place a bid or make an offer or outright buy an item that you want. You can also make a secure payment for your winning bid. And if there is something special you are watching, you can receive a notification each time you are out bid, or if there is something going up for auction that you are going to want to keep an eye on. And once you've won an auction and paid for it, the eBay app for BlackBerry 10 will track the shipment to make sure that you it isn't lost in a package depot in Portland, Maine. You can even determine what time your package will be arriving so that you can be home to sign for it. You can also answer questions on the go from potential bidders for your listings, and leave feedback for sellers.
Interestingly, there have been leaked screenshots of a native eBay app seen in the past which means that BlackBerry rushed this out while it works on a native app so it wouldn't lose any business from those who want a BlackBerry Z10, but absolutely need to have an eBay app on their phone.
