ZTE teases May 6th unveiling for its flagship model
Yesterday, we told you that the
ZTE Nubia Z9 Max would be delayed a month due to some production issues. The ZTE Nubia Z9 mini has already had one successful flash sale. So that leaves the ZTE Nubia Z9 flagship, which was not unveiled back on March 26th
like the other two phones were. According to a post put up today on the manufacturer's own Weibo page, the Nubia Z9 will be properly introduced to the world on May 6th.
We have seen leaked images before of the phone,
which sports a bezel-less screen. The device has been characterized as being "stunning," carrying a 5.5-inch display with resolution of 1440 x 2560. A 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 powers the unit, which will have 4GB of RAM inside. A 21MP rear camera is expected.
All of the other specs and availability will have to wait for the May 6th unveiling. The ZTE Nubia Z9 should be priced at the equivalent of $484 USD. Between ZTE's Nubia Z9 series and Huawei's P8 trio, we are seeing some fabulous handsets being produced out of China with spectacular specs and beautiful designs.
