Bezel-less Lenovo Z5 stars in new teaser, shows narrow bottom bezels
Lenovo keeps teasing its “truly bezel-less” smartphone, the Z5, but other than saying that it has the “highest ever” screen-to-body ratio, there's no info about the upcoming device. We don't even know what does “highest” means since Lenovo's VP, Chang Cheng asked fans to guess what screen-to-body ratio the device will have: a) 80-84%, b) 85-89%, c) 90-94%, or d) 95%.
To make it easier to guess, Cheng posted a picture that shows the upper left side of the smartphone, including the very thin bezels. Today, he posted yet another picture that shows the bottom left side of the Z5, which by the way doesn't feature a home button.
What we can definitely say after seeing both images is that the bottom bezels are as narrow as the side and top ones, which is very encouraging for those who prefer bezel-less smartphones.
Lenovo Z5 will not adopt the notch display design, so you can rest easy. We also know the truly bezel-less smartphone teased by Lenovo in the last week will be officially unveiled on June 14, so about a month from now.
Hopefully, details about its specs will leak out by until then, although we're more interested in whether or not the Lenovo Z5 will be a China-exclusive device.
