Best Buy to open all stores and selected Mobile locations early for HTC EVO 3D launch
Can't wait to pick up your new HTC EVO 3D on Friday? Best Buy is willing to turn the lights on and pay employees extra to open up its stores early at 8:00am on Friday for the launch of the HTC EVO 3D. The phone has been eagerly awaited for both its high-end specs and the glasses-free 3D capabilities of the device. Some would place this model among the top trio of currently available smartphones worldwide joining the Samsung Galaxy S II and the HTC Sensation.
Powered by a Qualcomm MSM 8660 Snapdragon 1.2GHz dual-core processor and with Android 2.3 installed, a rear facing 5MP dual-lens camera takes 2D and 3D photos while capturing videos at 720p in both 2D and 3D. The 4.3 inch Super LCD display features qHD resolution. As we reported, the phone was available on Wednesday to members of the Sprint Premier club. But while membership has its privileges as American Express is fond of saying, the price of $199.99 with a signed 2-year pact is the same, regardless of Premier membership or not.

And while all of its big box locations will be open at 8am Friday, selected Best Buy Mobile stores will also be open at that hour. This allows Best Buy to take care of those who want the HTC EVO 3D so badly, that they have set their alarm to get up early to pick up this sizzling hot handset from HTC.
